Not All Real Estate Agents Are Created Equal

Before you sell your home there are things you need to know. Most people believe one Real Estate Agent is as good as the next and nothing could be further from the truth. Selling a home is all about marketing the home to it’s fullest potential and we leave no stone unturned in getting you the most money possible. Take a look at our marketing plan listed below and please keep in mind we bring 40+ years of combined experience with us when selling a home. We give you results…..not excuses.


Have professional photos taken

Before you hire an agent you should ask to see one of their current listings. Pay special attention to the photographs as this is the single biggest factor in getting people to view your home. We hire the best photographers because your home deserves the best photography possible.


Submit to MLS

All agents do this but pay attention to the description that is written for the home. Is it one or two lines of nothing but blah or is there a full feature rich description written. Search engines pick up on these words helping your home be seen by more people. We write full descriptions


Create a flyer for public use at the signpost

Most agents do not use this technique anymore because it is a lot of work to keep the box full and it is expensive over time. We can honestly say this is one item that a seller should demand. We have sold many homes over the years because someone picked up a flyer and either bought the home themselves or gave the flyer to someone they know who did.


Create a virtual tour for use online

If a picture is worth a thousand words then an interesting virtual tour is worth a million. Most agents don’t even bother doing one let alone an interesting one. We will be happy to show you one of ours so you can tell us what you think. We send ours out to YouTube, Vimeo, and many others as well.


Send out just listed postcards

Arizona is made up of people from all over the country and it is very common for family and friends of people to move here as well and want to live nearby. We believe in letting your neighbors know for this very reason.


Online presence

Most agents leave this up to whatever the MLS does. We feel that is not nearly enough. We utilize Zillow, Trulia,, YouTube, FaceBook, Twitter, Google+ and many others. It is said over 90% of home buyers start their search on the Internet and we are there in a BIG WAY.


Hold open house

Most agents will tell you that this is mostly done by the agents to pick up other people thinking about selling or just buyers in general. While there is some truth to this it is not an absolute. We have sold many homes that we have held open and since nobody can say for sure where the buyer of your home is coming from we pull out all the stops. Ask any agent you talk to how many signs they put out (we have 19 and use all regularly), how many invitations to your neighbors they send out (we send out a minimum of 100 and at times many more) and if they post it to online sites. We highly doubt they do much here.


Contact agents who have shown home for feedback

How do you know what the public thinks of your home and the price if nobody asks? This is VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION and it needs to be known. We ask and then we let you know so an informed choice can be made and not just shooting in the dark.
